NGL COLLECTIVE is Leading the Way In Latinx Branded Content And Cutting Edge Virtual Events 

NGL COLLECTIVE is the leading independent Latinx media and entertainment solutions company co-founded by actor John Leguizamo. The company recently won TWO (2) GOLD TELLY® AWARDS from the 42nd annual award ceremony.

The first GOLD TELLY AWARD was for their U.S. Census 2020 custom content campaign.  The company was proud to team up with Culture One World to reach the Latinx community with important messaging around the importance of the Latinx community participating in the 2020 U.S. Census. NGL Collective’s campaign approach was to deliver the facts with a little bit of funny, aligning to dynamic Latinx creators from across the U.S. like OMG It’s Eddie G on the west coast, Room28 Comedy representing NYC, and the legendary actor & singer Carlos Ponce in Miami.  NGL talent that contributed to this campaign win included Elianette Leon-Kelly, the account’s Sales Director, VP of Ad Sales Marketing, John C. Sosa who developed the campaign creative strategy, NGL Studio’s Ben DeJesus who directed the spot starring Carlos Ponce, that was written and co-starred Emmy-winning writer & comedian Yamil Piedra, and featured Jill Krikorian as Executive Producer.

The second GOLD TELLY AWARD was for their HISPANICIZE 2020 series of virtual events.  In 2020, Hispanicize, the largest gathering of Latinx influencers and tastemakers of its kind, went VIRTUAL with two record-breaking all-day summit events in July and October. It garnered a combined 18,000 attendees, 60MM+ social impressions, and 2MM+ engagements. NGL Collective produced 40+ pieces of programming content, ranging from live keynote sessions with Fat Joe, Jessica Alba, John Leguizamo, and Residente, to spotlights on our 2020 LatinXCLNCE Award honorees shouting out essential workers and Latinx community pioneers, to dynamic panel conversations with America Ferrera, Julián Castro, Luis Guzmán, Dascha Polanco, Diane Guerrero, Dolores Huerta, Luis A. Miranda Jr., Mario Lopez, Oscar De La Hoya, Julissa Calderon, and many more.

NGL talent that contributed to this series win included David Chitel, NGL’s own CEO who conceived of the company going virtual with this tentpole event, VP of Ad Sales Marketing, John C. Sosa who developed and oversaw all sponsor packages and executions, NGL Social’s VP, Piera Garibaldi who served as Creative Director and NGL Studio’s Ben DeJesus who directed both virtual events alongside Jill Krikorian who served as Executive Producer.

NGL Collective’s 2020 Hispanicize Virtual Summits shone a light on crucial issues in our community – the Latinx Vote, Activism & Black Lives Matter, Entrepreneurship and Covid’s effects on the Latinx industry, Afro-Latinidad – all while lifting Latinx voices and showcasing the message of unity spearheaded by NGL’s #UnidosTogether platform.
