“When the #ShelterInPlace orders were announced, our in-house NGL Studios team led by our Chief Creative Officer, Ben DeJesus, immediately started strategizing about how to best adapt and service our advertiser partners by leveraging NGL’s production capabilities in new and innovative ways,” said David Chitel, CEO of NGL Collective.

Co-founded by John Leguizamo and Ben DeJesus, NGL Studios specializes in exceptional purpose-driven storytelling for branded content, non-scripted, scripted, and documentaries for today’s Latinx audience. In addition to the many advertiser partners with whom NGL regularly collaborates, other acclaimed projects and award-winning films include American Masters: Raúl Juliá, John Leguizamo’s Road to Broadway, and DeJesus’ work as a sitcom director on Disney’s Bunk’d.

“Thanks to the incredible advances in technology and remote production, we’re able to create meaningful content that still speaks to consumers effectively, despite the new normal and the challenges we’re all adapting to,” said DeJesus.

Currently, NGL Studios is producing weekly episodes of Hispancize Hangout, a new VODcast show serving as an extension NGL Collective’s hugely popular HISPANICIZE event, featuring dynamic influencers, celebrities, entrepreneurs and executives across Latinx media, marketing and entertainment. Under its #UnidosTogether initiative, live take-overs of NGL’s Hispanicize, Hispanic Kitchen and Latina Moms social media pages have also drawn major attention.
